From Nuzhian waterfall to Warak waterfall(Khorramabad, Lorestan province)

A trip to Lorestan and its waterfalls in Ardibehesht is to become fluid in the flow of nature's life and the views of mountains, oak forests and streams, which we have been blessed with many times.. But this time, our trip was with the presence of children and traveling with them, which, in my opinion, was one of the most unique experiences of my travels during these years..

A three-day trip to see Nozhian and Wark waterfalls(Pig) and the experience of staying among the mountains and oak trees.

We traveled to Lorestan in the company of three children aged 5 to 7, which was carried out by night bus to Khorram Abad in the middle of May 1401.. It wasn't sunny early in the morning when we got off at the Khorram Abad terminal and took a taxi without delay and checking and checking.! We went to Nozhian waterfall. The journey took about an hour and was about 50 km from the terminal to Nozhian. First, he passed the city ring road and then entered the rural road and then on the road that was in the forest area. The asphalt road went almost to the foot of Nozhian waterfall. The closest village to Nozhian was Sangtrashan village, where he also had a residence there.

The first view around the waterfall was stunning. The sun had not yet hit the ground and it was a bit cool. We prepared tea with the children and spread the breakfast table by the river. After breakfast, we toured around. There, two waters joined together. One was the water of the waterfall and the other was the water that came rushing down from the top of the hill. The weather got a little warmer and it was time to go to the long Nozhian waterfall.

There was a small shop and a toilet on the side of the road. We left the things to the shopkeeper and went to the waterfall. It was a good pavement from the foot of the road to the waterfall. The pond under the waterfall was small and about half a meter deep, and it was very attractive for children. Our plan was to stay until noon, and after that I had arranged with Mr. Fathullah Malziri, the owner of Darbulut Residence, to follow us and take us to the residence.. We had watered a lot from the waterfall and were waiting for Mr. Fathullah. On the road and near the waterfall, we chatted with the person who was taking the so-called entrance to visit the waterfall and who was sitting under a big oak tree.. Little by little, Mr. Fethullah arrived with a two-cabin Mazda van. A good-natured and promising man. From Nozhian to Dar Balut residence, we had to go back to Wark Road, which went to Pir Asad and then Khaki.(Short and high quality) and then we reached the residence. At the height of the path, there was an eighty-sided view. A wild pear tree had also blossomed and it was magical.

Fascinating view of eighty sides

The beautiful eight-sided Sajneh and the story of its adventures, which were not left in those times, could not be heard..
The beautiful scene of Eighty Sides and the story of its glaciers, of which nothing is left these days, could be heard..

The entrance to the residence was separated from the dirt road by a steep slope, and Mr. Fethullah explained its construction! The residence had 5 rooms with native architecture, including a toilet and a bathroom, and a large black tent was put up. In the middle of it, different constructions were done, which was a two-story building of urban architecture, which was the residence of the management and the family.. I wish it would not be built in this way and this view would be preserved.

All rooms were full with passengers of the same group. Earlier, I had asked Mr. Fathullah to provide us with a black tent for the first night, which was really nicer.. A small fireplace and tea and the view of the valley next to the black tent promised a romantic atmosphere.

There was a huge oak next to our tent. Mr. Fathullah used to say that he heard from my grandfather that when he was a child, there was this oak tree with the same height.

The story of oaks is a strange story. You can see that they are about 500 years old! There was a big oak above the ground of the residence that had dried up and Mr. Fethullah said that it had been struck by lightning.

Mr. Fethullah had work in the lower place and offered to take us to the spring “Sycamore side” It was a safe place with a good spring next to an old plane tree. The tea was sticky with spring water in that cloudy weather with rain, but we didn't have any of it! Mr. Fethullah took pains to get tea, kettle and sugar from a nearby shepherd. Until Mr. Fathullah arrived, I tried to teach the child how to make a small fire and maintain it with wood chips on the ground. A small fire that eliminates the need and does minimal damage to the land and resources.

On the way back to Agha Fethullah's residence, he had invited a music group for his guests, and the beautiful atmosphere was perfectly matched with Lori's local music.

On the way to Wark Falls

On the morning of the second day, which was completely sunny, we planned to visit the Wark waterfall. Mr. Fethullah coordinated the guide named Mr. Mohsen, who was a relative, and gave him his own car. A tall and well-mannered boy who knew the area well. His 6-year-old daughter was also with him. The route was such that we had to continue the dirt road for seven kilometers, and at the point where it was almost the end of the road, we parked the car and went on foot first into the valley on the right side, and there was a clear path along the valley.. The footpath to the waterfall was about 3.5 km. Beautiful and almost smooth path. The children also came and returned all this way on foot, and I was personally proud of them. The water of the waterfall flowed out in the form of a spring from several points, one of which came from the top of the mountain and poured on the rocks and was not vertical.. One of them was short on the left side, but a waterfall flowed. Finally, they gathered and made a river and rushed towards the valley.. It was quite crowded due to the closure, and more nature lovers came from Borujerd and Khorram Abad to see this natural phenomenon.. The shade of Sarai oak and sycamore made our lunch and tea space. On the way back, the children were a little more tired and thirsty. In the middle of the path, near Pakub on the right, there was a good and ice spring that watered us all. And they continued until we reached the river and the fallen tree and the last uphill to the car. On the way to Mr. residence… We saw him who was with his little daughter in their field and had a long swing. Sahand was impatient when he saw the swing. He was a good-natured man who watered his land. He had planted walnuts and explained a little about the distance between the trees. The name of the place … He used to say that it made us all laugh.

At the end of the car ride on the Wark route, we went into the valley until we reached the river and continued the route on the other side of the shallow river..

When we got out of the car, we went down this beautiful forest slope to the river. It had a gentle slope.

Nozhian and Wark waterfalls route guide

Nuzhian:

If I want to give an address briefly, these two waterfalls are near Khorramabad, the capital of Lorestan province. From the Khorramabad ring road, you should go to the road with a signpost. If you continue straight, the path will reach Nozhian waterfall. Nozhian waterfall is near the asphalt road and it can be said that it is about 5 minutes away from the road.. Nozhian waterfall is relatively high. From the center of Khorramabad to Nozhian, 50 kilometers of asphalt road takes about an hour.

wark:

Although Nozhian and Wark waterfalls are geographically very close, but to reach Wark, parts of the road are dirt roads, and then one or two hours of walking is necessary..

There is a road to reach Warak Domsir. One from the side of Heshad Pahlo region, which we chose because of our place of residence, and the other from the side near Nozhian waterfall.. By car, you have to drive 7 kilometers on good soil. Then he parked the car on the side of the road and started walking into the valley. After passing through Ward Kojak on the path of Pakub water, it is clear that after about 3.5 km with a gentle slope through the oak forest, it will bring you to Warak waterfall.. At the end of both roads, you have to go down the valley slope and continue on the opposite side. I suggest the route from the side of Hashad Pahlu because it had a good variety and the navigation route was relatively smooth and beautiful.. In the middle of it, there was a life-giving spring, which filled us up. The walking part to Wark waterfall is about 1.5 hours, and to see Wark waterfall, you have to walk along the paths.(From Khorramabad) And it takes at least 8 hours to walk round trip. In other words, it is a one-day trip from Khorramabad.

The purpose of this photo is to show the second road of Wark Falls. Cars can be seen in the middle of the photo. They also have to walk down the valley to come here and follow the path of the Wark waterfall.

To stay and eat at Dar Balut Residence, you can contact Mr. Fethullah Malziri by phone on 09166611997 and 09167501946..

To learn about the routes to the waterfalls, a GPS file has been placed on Wikiloc, which I suggest you read and check before starting the trip..

    Hello dear friend,
The main waterfall of Wark, which is located in the rugged mountains of Aligudarz, is really beautiful. The volume of water that comes out of the mouth of the cave at a height of about fifty meters is more than 2000 liters per second in the shortest time and it falls vertically. Try to research about this waterfall. ,
